There are a number of express trains running over the line, usually overnight, but for the full flavor one needs to get up before dawn and catch the local which stops at numerous small market towns and local whistle stops along the way. I took it as far as Kuala Lipis, where I caught a bus back to Kuala Lumpur for my flight home. |
